Where do you want to go on a vacation and why?
Europe!! I’ve been to
Germany for my DY and I didn’t get enough opportunity to travel around Europe
that much, so I would like to go there again.
What is your favourite TV series?
So hard to choose from haha currently I’m into those
superheroes type of tv series, such as Arrow and The Flash.
What is the best and worst movie to you?
Best= Pitch Perfect!
Worst = Twilight saga
Do you have any favourite restaurants here in Brunei?
None in particular, I just go where my tummy feels like
going.
What is the most important thing in life?
My family and my circle of friends
If you have 1 million, what would you do with it?
Probably travel around the world. My own travel escape

I would love to help in any possible way that I can manage

Discovery year 2013, I would really want that “honeymoon”

Describe your happiest moment in IHS.
Our lunch escapades, our way to just enjoy ourselves not
thinking about the stress we had back in IHS haha
How is university life so far?
Final
semester of final year. Currently doing a research project on virology with
Professor Mabruk, involving screening for respiratory RNA viruses in
order to identify respiratory viral pathogens associated with respiratory
infections of patients with travel history to the Middle Eastern countries and
were previously tested negative for MERS CoV.
Describe your life as a biomedical science student.
4 years seems long, but actually isn’t. My journey so far
has been a great and wonderful experience
Which module is your favourite and why?
Microbiology especially virology!
What did you do during your discovery year?
Internship in Krankenhaus Nordwest, Frankfurt Germany.
Any study tips for your juniors?
Study smart first then study hard
Do you have
any words of motivation to the juniors?
It may seem like a long way run, but by the end of it you’ll
look back and think “ hey! Where have the years gone by? “ . So just sit back
and have fun, enjoy the 4 years of being an undergraduate biomedical scientist.
