Futsal With IM Seniors

Tuesday, August 12, 2008 · 0 comments

Last night, we as the new cohort of IM had fun played futsal with the seniors of IM and staffs at UBD Sports Complex. We played there from 8 pm until 10 pm and it was rain heavily outside, luckily we were inside the hall. It was a kind of ice breaking session for us with the seniors and I admit that they were very strong for us; we lost the game with the score 6-3 if not mistaken. It was very tiring last night, but at least we got some exercise.

Traditional Dance Workshop

Wednesday, August 06, 2008 · 0 comments

Yesterday night, as part of the International Summer Medical School programme for the Kagawa students, there was a traditional dance workshop organised by Mariah. It was great fun for both the Japanese and IM students as well as the members of staff who came to watch. The Japanese students were eager in learning the dance moves and were quite fast to catch on. Below are some pictures of them learning the dance moves. The dance, "Adai-adai", will be performed by the Japanese students and their buddies on the farewell dinner on the 24th August.
