Recyclable Arts Competition

Another event conduction in conjunction with Green Project UBD for UBD 21ST CONVOCATION.

Convert rubbish into treasure!

Make use of all of the recyclable things at home to make any Arts that you wish. Prizes are to be given to ten winners – these winners will display and present their Arts to the public also!

Just send your Arts directly to PMUBD Office on the 11th October 2009.

Plant Your Own Tree

This event is in conjunction with Green Project UBD for UBD 21ST CONVOCATION.

You will be able to have your name permanently beside the tree that you planted.

Small PBL Open Room for Raya Celebration

The Biomedical Sciences Cohort 1 organised a small PBLOpenRoom, also known normally as Open House. Those who came were DrMas, Prof Mohammad, Dr Abiola, Aswir, and Medicine Cohort 4.

They even had ‘fire’ on the cucul api outside the room.

The food was mostly Raya cakes, so the Raya mood was totally ON.

Haiza gave us these fancy chocolates, however she didn’t manage to attend the celebration. Thanks Haiza!

On behalf of everyone, Im sorry to those who didn’t know about this small celebration. It was organised just to make full use of the decorations we did before the semester break. Not to forget, tomorrow is Raya Celebration for all IMians!!

PBL Baseroom Decoration

Saturday 19th September 2009 was the day of Moon Sighting for Syawal. It was the last day before the semester break, so the Biomedical Sciences Cohort 1 decorated their PBL Baseroom 14 in the afternoon after they are finished with class.

Ladies of the day

Each of them brought different pieces of decorations.

They even brought cucul!

Look how nice the cucul looks like when it is switched on.

The Raya cards are contributed by Mas, Bazi and Zirah. These Raya cards are sent by others, and some of them aged years so the greetings are very funny.

Below is the Kad raya from Nadirah to Zirah in 2003. It is very sweet of Nad! Look how proud Zirah posed with the card :)

So in the end, the room looks super fantabulous!

The staff room also looks nice for the Hari Raya Celebration.

I know it is almost the end of Syawal – but I hope its not too late to say Selamat Hari Raya!
