RTB Hosts Forum For Brunei, Singapore Uni Students

Bandar Seri Begawan - Radio Television Brunei Wednesday night hosted a Uni
versity Forum with the topic "Survival in an Increasingly Globalised World" with Musa Mohidin as the moderator at Studio 1, RTB.
The forum was a chance to hear the views of undergrads from universities of both Brunei and Singapore.
The speakers comprised eight undergrads. The four Bruneian students were Lim Kok Haw Jonathan, Puteri Balgis Md Hadi, Abdul Hamid Muslim and Ak Abdul Ba'asit bin Pg Hj Yahya. The Singaporean students who took part in the forum were Jason Low Hui
Huang, Juliet Huang Chen Mei, Siti Syuhada bte Faizal and Fazlina bte Faruk Marican.
The forum was an initiative of the governments of both Singapore and Brunei to foster closer ties between the two countries and is one of the projects implemented under the MoU concerning cooperation in the field of broadcasting.
Present as the guest of honour from Singapore were Mr Masagos Zulkifli bin Masagos Mohamad, the Senior Parliamentary Secretary at the Ministry of Education while the guest of honour from Brunei
was the Acting Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office, Pg Dato Paduka Hj Ismail bi Pg Hj Mohammad.
The forum ended with a presentation of souvenirs by, the guest of honour to the participating students. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
