Farewell to Dr Haji Zulkarnain Haji Hanafi

Wednesday, April 16, 2008 · 0 comments

Our former dean and favourite person in the whole of IM, Dr Hj Zulkarnain Hj Hanafi, has left IM for a personal reason. Even though he left early last year, he still visit us and gave his powerful guidance to the IM Family, but lately he seems to be busy with his work. Thats why we felt his absence and started to miss him. So last saturday, Dr Nurol organised a long overdue farewell to Dr Zul but it was meant to be a surprise. The evening held in Emperors court at Manggis Mall and nearly 40 friends gathered in the room. Here are a few pics...

$77 K donated to SMARTER

Monday, April 14, 2008 · 0 comments

For the first time ever, IM has managed to donate $77,000++ to SMARTER via the IM Charity Evening 2008. Pg Malai Ali had mentioned in his speech that he was no longer concerned about his son future as he knows that the future doctors in Brunei will take a good care for him. We would like to say our sincere gratitude to all the students hard work, especially Year 3 (they forgot to mentioned this in the recent borneo bulletin...absurd!), Year 2 and Year 1 of IM students, not forgetting to all volunteers and 'others' (cited from Farah's speech-that means admins staff...confirmed..hehe).
